Application of PSA Nitrogen Generator Plant for Electronic

In the electronic and semiconductor industries, the nitrogen is mainly used for atmosphere protection, welding, purging, packaging, sintering, annealing, reduction, storage, cleaning, chemical and recovery in the manufacturing process of semiconductors and integrated circuits. And the nitrogen is an inert gas, it not only helps to keep dry and clean, but also makes the manufacturing process safe and consistent. By the way, the nitrogen inert protection has been proved to be an essential and important link in the successful production of high-quality electronic components.

Therefore, the nitrogen is very suitable for producing extremely fine and clean surfaces, which is necessary for any type of electronic equipment produced.
The solid impurities in the slag or molten metal may become an important problem in the welding process. But the nitrogen will reduce the amount of dross generated in the welding process and strengthen the solder strength. If the oxygen particles are embedded between solder and material, it may have disastrous consequences for electronic products, such like the solder will be weakened and defective.
Specially in the SMT industry: Nitrogen filled reflow soldering and wave soldering in SMT Mounter. Nitrogen can effectively inhibit the oxidation of solder, improve the welding wettability, accelerate the wetting speed, reduce the generation of solder balls, avoid bridging, reduce welding defects and obtain better welding quality. The purity of nitrogen used is greater than 99.99 or 99.9%.
