Cause Analysis of High Dew Point of Nitrogen Generator

There are two main reasons for the high dew point of the nitrogen generator:

Reason 1:

The gas output of nitrogen generator is too large, or the effect of carbon molecular sieve is not good.

Reason 2:

The activated carbon in the adsorber is not replaced in time, or the filter element is damaged.

Removing moisture from the air is a necessary stage in the nitrogen production process. Usually using the two methods as below,

Adsorption Method:

Use some porous substances to adsorb air to remove water such as adsorbents, and the adsorbents mainly is carbon molecular sieve.

Freezing method:

Usually used in large low-pressure nitrogen generator, and remove water from the air in heat exchanger and other equipment.
