Difference Between Oil-free Air Compressor And Oil Air Compressor

In terms of oil content, oil and oil-free in the air compressor generally refer to the oil content of the gas discharged from the exhaust port of the air compressor. Generally, the oil content of the oil machine is large, and the oil content of the oil-free machine is 0.01ppm, so this oil content is used to distinguish the air compressor with oil and without oil. There is also an oil-free air compressor, which is not lubricated with oil, but lubricated with resin materials. Therefore, the final discharged gas is called oil-free air compressor.

Structurally, there is no difference between the bearing of oil air compressor and that of oil-free air compressor. But from the working principle, there are obvious differences. The oil-free air compressor does not involve oil in the operation process. Whether it is an oil-free piston air compressor or an oil-free screw air compressor, they will produce a lot of high temperature during the operation process. If there is an oil air compressor, the oil will take away the high temperature generated in the compression process of the air compressor, thus cooling the machinery.
