Nitrogen is a colorless, tasteless and odorless inert gas, which is harmless to human body. However, if the nitrogen content in the air increases, it will reduce the oxygen content, which will lead to difficulty in breathing. If pure nitrogen is inhaled, it will suffocate and die due to severe hypoxia.
In order to avoid the increase of nitrogen content in the workshop, the nitrogen produced by the nitrogen generator shall not be discharged indoors. When there is a large amount of nitrogen in the nitrogen generator, the oxygen respirator shall be worn.
When overhauling nitrogen filling equipment, containers and pipelines, air replacement is required first, then operation can be allowed only after the oxygen content is analyzed to be qualified.
During maintenance, there should be someone to monitor and take strict care of the nitrogen valve to prevent personal accidents caused by opening the valve by mistake.
