According to the principle of pressurized adsorption, depressurization and desorption, the PSA oxygen generator plant is an automatic equipment that uses zeolite molecular sieve as adsorbent to adsorb and release oxygen from the air. Zeolite molecular sieve is a spherical white granular adsorbent with micropores on the surface and inside. The micropores characteristics enable to make the O2 and N2 kinetic separation. The kinetic diameters of the two gases are slightly different. N2 molecules have a faster diffusion rate in the micropores of zeolite molecular sieve, and O2 molecules have a slower diffusion rate. The diffusion of water and CO2 in compressed air is similar to nitrogen. Finally, oxygen molecules are enriched from the adsorption tower.

In the hospital, the requirements of oxygen using are: 93% purity, 0.4MPa. The PSA oxygen generator plant provides the oxygen source uniformly, and distributed the oxygen to each bed and gas consumption point through the central oxygen supply pipeline and terminal system.
